St. John’s wort extract has the ability to activate the skin’s own natural repair process. The main biologically active constituents include hypericin and hyperforin, which have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial activities.

CHICKWEED
Contains vitamins A and C and also cools and relieves inflamed skin. It is a strong astringent and an anti-inflammatory. 

CHANTERELLE MUSHROOMS
Golden chanterelle mushrooms are also some of the best natural sources for vitamin B3 and are a real Newfoundland treasure! They contain high levels of vitamin B3 or niacinamide – a bioactive compound that is amazingly effective in reducing skin redness, inflammation, and irritation.

TETRAHEXYLDECYL ASCORBATE
Unlike L-ascorbic acid, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate is a highly stable form of vitamin C that penetrates further into the skin where it works synergistically with vitamin E and other actives to dramatically brighten skin. The gold standard of vitamin C.

ZINC OXIDE
An essential trace mineral needed for a healthy skin barrier. Helps soothe itchy skin and minor skin irritations.

THE RITUAL
