Every year, we return to 'our spot' where the river meets the sea to gather wild river mint at its fragrant peak. We bring it back to the apothecary and distill it with pure iceberg water, capturing the plant’s intensely fresh, green character in our signature Wild River Mint Iceberg Hydrosol. It’s a ritual we’ve returned to year after year, and the botanical heart of this collection.
WILD FIREWEED
A Newfoundland botanical selected for its antioxidant and scalp-conditioning properties. Fireweed extract helps support a balanced-feeling scalp while reducing the appearance of excess oil and flakes.
ROSEMARY
Fresh and herbaceous, rosemary complements wild river mint while giving the shampoo its crisp, energizing aromatic profile.
BAOBAB PROTEIN
Hydrolyzed baobab protein helps condition and smooth the hair shaft, supporting softer, stronger-feeling hair with natural body and manageability.
PANTHENOL
Pro-vitamin B5 helps condition the hair and support softness, flexibility and a smoother, shiny finish.
THE RITUAL
Massage a small amount into very wet hair and scalp. Work into a rich lather, adding more water rather than more product as needed.
Rinse thoroughly and follow with conditioner.
PRO TIP
This is a concentrated shampoo gel and we recommend starting with less than you think you need. Extra water helps distribute the cleanser through the hair and build the lather.
For oilier roots or heavy buildup, shampoo twice using a small amount each time. The first cleanse lifts buildup; the second delivers the full botanical lather.
CARE
Keep water out of the container between uses and store away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
