Happy International Women’s Day (IWD)! 🦸♀️
The United Nations theme for IWD 2024 is Invest in women: Accelerate progress.
It’s a call to action and a reminder that gender equality is one of the most effective ways to build healthier, more prosperous, and more inclusive communities.
“Hear, hear” to that! 👏
For us, at East Coast Glow, this idea was built in from the beginning.
So, today is a day to celebrate the progress made towards a more gender equal world, but to also recognize how much there is still left to be done. We all deserve to live in a world free from bias, discrimination, and stereotypes; and be given equal opportunity to thrive and be valued and celebrated for our differences.
It can be incredibly challenging to build a business from the ground up, especially as a woman. Although, entrepreneurship is not an easy venture, it's a wonderful feeling to find the courage to walk to the beat of your own drum and do only the things that serve your larger plan. That's what I draw strength from each, and every day.
Breaking barriers and creating a brand centered around empowering women to break free from the oppression of anti-aging marketing has been extremely rewarding and I am proud to be a strong example for my children. 🤍
Today, we remain committed to using our brand to do good things in this world, to spread inspiring messages of hope and determination and we are proud to be a part of this collective effort towards shifting the narrative.
